Can you dye polyester?

Polyester is a tricky fabric to dye, especially if it is 100% polyester. Polyester is a synthetic fabric made from petroleum, making it resistant to dye absorption. We recommend natural fibers like 100% cotton and rayon for the sharpest and brightest results.
