Do I need to prewash the fabric before decorating with fabric markers?
If decorating on a substrate that will be washed and worn, we recommend you prewash your fabric to remove the sizing. Prewashing will prevent any shrinking after you complete your design, and it allows the ink to absorb into the fibers better.
