Stay safe this winter with a fun face mask that even Frosty the Snowman would enjoy! The Color Venturer will show you how to easily decorate a simple white face mask in winter wonder style with nontoxic Tulip Fabric Markers. Just a little bit of creativity will go a long way in spreading cheer in a safe way while you’re out and about this winter!
What you need:
- Tulip Fabric Markers (any pack with orange and black)
- White Cotton Face Mask
- Pencil
This quick and easy snowman face mask project only requires a few supplies, and can be ready to wear the same day! First make sure your mask has been washed and dried (without fabric softener). For this project, you’ll only need the orange and black Fabric Markers from your pack (unless you want to get extra colorful with yours!).
Use a pencil to lightly sketch out a carrot nose on your mask. The Color Venturer recommends putting on the mask and marking where your nose is to help with the placement of the carrot nose design. Do the same for your mouth. If you mess up, don’t worry, you can erase the pencil markings and adjust your design to your liking.
Once you’re happy with your carrot nose design, color it in with the orange Fabric Marker.
Once you’re happy with your mouth design, color in the circles with the black Fabric Marker. When complete, let everything fully dry.
