Pastel Dimensional Paint Floral Vases
Flowers are an instant mood boost for a lot of us, so why not double the effect and create a set of vases with flowers on them too?! The perfect centerpiece for your intimate Easter dinner at home, or even a lovely accent on a side table, you can never go wrong with bouquets of flowers. Mikyla Creates will show you how to DIY your own set of floral vases for spring using pretty pastel shades of Tulip Dimensional Paint.
What you need:
- Tulip Dimensional Paint in desired colors
- COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint - Head in the Clouds
- Glass vases or jars
- Painter's tape
- White acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
Make sure your vases are clean and free of any dust and prints. Tape them off at different levels using painter's tape.
Working in a well-ventilated area, spray each vase with several light coats of white spray paint, letting dry between coats.
Once you're happy with your paint coverage, remove the tape and let the vases dry completely before moving on to the next step.
On a paper plate or paint palette, squeeze out some of each color of Dimensional Paint then mix in white acrylic paint to each color. Use a paintbrush to paint leaves and stems all around the white portion of each vase. Paint each vase with a different color of paint.
Use the Dimensional Paint directly from the paint bottle to create dimensional flowers and dots over the leaf patterns in the corresponding color.
Once you're happy with how your project turned out, let everything dry completely before using.
It's time to let your creativity bloom for Easter and the rest of spring!
