Rainbow Color Block Table Runner with Fabric Spray Paint

What you need:

Tulip ColorShot Festival Fabric Spray Paints

Tulip Soft Brush-On Fabric Paints

White cotton fabric

Protective surface cover

Scissors

Paintbrush

Sewing machine

Decorative trim (optional)

Start this DIY table runner project by cutting your white cotton fabric into evenly sized squares. Place the fabric squares onto a protected work surface in a well-ventilated area and begin color blocking your fabric. Shake the can well and spray in smooth, even strokes. Apply one light coat at a time, waiting 5 minutes between coats, until desired coverage and color intensity is achieved.

Repeat this process with all of your fabric squares for some bold color blocking! Once you’ve applied the base color, lightly spray on a second color at the bottom edge to create a smooth ombre gradient. Have fun creating lots of rainbow color combinations!

Use your Brush-On Fabric Paints to add abstract patterns and accents to your color blocked fabric. Try mixing the paints to create new unique colors!

Use sharp scissors to cut your color blocked fabrics into strips. Arrange the strips into a pattern of how you’d like your DIY table runner to turn out.

Use a sewing machine to stitch together your color blocked fabric. Add some decorative trim to the ends of your DIY table runner, then it’s ready to display!
