What you need:
- Tulip Unicorn One-Step Tie-Dye Kit (COMING SOON)
- White canvas shoes
- Paintbrushes
- Disposable cups
- Scissors
- Heat set tool
- Masking tape
Prep your work surface for dyeing your shoes by gathering needed supplies. We recommend covering your work space with a plastic table cover to protect from any accidental dye spillage.
You'll want to leave your shoes dry or only slightly damp for this project. If they have laces, also remove the laces, then tape around the soles of the shoes to protect from dye.
Fill dye bottles with water, replace caps and shake to mix. Mix up at least two colors for this ombre tie-dye technique.
Pour each dye color into its own disposable cup.
Use the paintbrushes to brush dyes onto the shoes, blending the colors into one another for a pretty ombre effect. Let shoes dry completely then remove tape.
Cut desired transfers from included transfer sheets and heat set onto shoes according to instructions. Add crystals as well if you want an extra sparkly touch!
