How To Create Resist Designs with Fabric Spray Paint
Spray paint your way to fast and fun designs with this easy resist technique and Tulip ColorShot Fabric Spray Paint!
The Resist Technique using Fabric Spray Paint is an easy and fun way to create a phrase, design or repeating patterns.
Step 1:
Insert poster board inside your shirt or between the layers of fabric. Iron a piece of freezer paper to the inside or back of your t-shirt or canvas. This creates a stable crafting surface and prevents paint from bleeding through to the back.
Step 2:
Place your letter stickers to spell names or a phrase on the flat surface. You can also use precut patterns from your cricut or silhouette machine.
Step 3:
Lightly spray Tulip ColorShot back and forth over the stickers. Allow to dry.
Tip: It's better to spray several light coats of ColorShot instead of one heavy coat. Make sure to let dry in between color applications.
Step 4:
Remove stickers and poster board or freezer paper.
Step 4:
Let the project dry completely before wearing.
