Prewash fabric to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener.
Place damp unfolded fabric into the washing machine drum.

Add Dye Pod:

Remove sleeve and lid from dye pod. Place the pod into the drum in an upright position on top of fabric. Do not pour dye powder out, leave in pod. Sprinkle 1.5 cup salt evenly around project.

Clean it:

When cycle is complete, remove the empty pod from the machine. Add washing detergent and run another cycle (normal wash cycle, room temperature water).
