Dye color changes in sunlight with Tulip Color Change Dye! Tulip Color Change Dye is great for allover coverage and tie-dye techniques on 100% white cotton fabrics. For allover dye, submerge dry fabric in dye bath, working in sections to ensure dye has penetrated the folds and fabric is completely saturated. Dye fabric in sunlight to ensure all areas are covered or check for blank spots by exposing dyed fabric to sunlight. Resubmerge in dye bath if needed.
For tie-dye technique, add 2 ounces of dye and ¼ cup water to a squeeze bottle. Shake to mix and apply to fabric as desired.
For tie-dye, do not wring out excess dye. Once dye has been applied and set for a few hours, cut rubber bands, unfold, and lay flat to dry. Do not dry in sunlight.
6. Fabric must be completely dry before washing. Wash in cool water on gentle cycle.
7. Air dry flat or tumble dry low. Do not dry with heat.
8. Take your finished project into sunlight and watch as the color changes!
