TULIP Color Change Dye Kit 2 oz. 2-Pack

1. Pre-wash and dry white fabric to remove sizing.
2. Choose a technique for allover coverage or tie dye. Fold and bind as desired.
3. Shake dye bottle well. For allover coverage, pour dye and ¾ cup warm water into a container large enough to fit your project. For tie dye, use ¼ cup water per 2 ounces of dye.
4. Wear gloves while working with dye.

For allover dye, submerge dry fabric in dye bath, working in sections to ensure dye has penetrated the folds and fabric is completely saturated. Dye fabric in sunlight to ensure all areas are covered or check for blank spots by exposing dyed fabric to sunlight. Resubmerge in dye bath if needed.

For tie-dye technique, add 2 ounces of dye and ¼ cup water to a squeeze bottle. Shake to mix and apply to fabric as desired.

5. For allover dye, gently wring out excess dye. Fabric should be wet, but not dripping. Hang to dry and smooth out any wrinkles. Do not dry in sunlight.

For tie-dye, do not wring out excess dye. Once dye has been applied and set for a few hours, cut rubber bands, unfold, and lay flat to dry. Do not dry in sunlight.

6. Fabric must be completely dry before washing. Wash in cool water on gentle cycle.

7. Air dry flat or tumble dry low. Do not dry with heat.

8. Take your finished project into sunlight and watch as the color changes!

• Extended exposure to sunlight will weaken color change effects.
• Direct sunlight will result in most vibrant color change.
• Product works best when transitioning in and out of sunlight.
• Works best on white, 100% cotton fabrics.
