Supplies:

Greek Life Painted Jean Overalls:

Greek Life Overalls

1. Prep the Overalls

Wash and dry the jean overalls without fabric softener so the paint can bond to the denim. Lay the overalls flat on a protected work surface and smooth out the bib, straps, pockets, and legs.

2. Add a Barrier Inside

Place cardboard, freezer paper, or a protective insert inside the overalls under the areas you plan to paint. This helps keep the paint from bleeding through to the back side of the denim.

3. Plan the Design

Use the image as inspiration for a soft pastel sorority design. Lightly sketch the sorority name or letters across the bib or leg with a chalk pencil, then mark where you want to add painted accents, dots, hearts, flowers, or color blocks.

4. Paint the Lettering and Accents

Shake the Tulip fabric paints well. Paint the sorority lettering first, then fill in the surrounding accents with pastel colors. Use thin, even layers and let each color dry slightly before adding details or layering additional paint.

5. Let Dry & Wear

Let the overalls dry flat completely before wearing. Wait at least 72 hours before washing, then turn the overalls inside out and wash according to the paint and garment care instructions.

Hand painted Suede Cowboy Boots

1. Prep the Boots

Clean the boot surface thoroughly to remove grease or factory sealants, then stuff the insides tightly with newspaper to create a firm painting surface.

2. Sketch the Sorority Design

Use a chalk pencil to lightly trace a large heart outline interwoven with your sorority's name or Greek letters onto a smooth section of the boot shaft.

3. Mix and Apply the Paint

Shake Tulip paints thoroughly. Paint carefully over your sketched lines using a fine-tip brush and Tulip Soft Fabric Paint, applying two thin coats for a vibrant, solid matte finish.

4. Let Dry & Wear!

Let the painted boots dry undisturbed for at least 4 hours and wait a full 72 hours before wearing them outdoors.

Handmade Sorority Banner

1. Prep the Work Surface

Lay your canvas banner completely flat on a protective plastic cover or piece of cardboard to keep your workspace clean.

2. Sketch the Design

Use a pencil to lightly freehand the thick, chunky bubble letter shapes and the flanking stars across the canvas.

3. Mix Paint and Set Up Paint Palette

Squeeze the pink, orange, and coral Tulip Soft Paint colors onto your palette.

4. Paint On Desired Wording and Designs

Use chalk pencil to add designs as a guide or freehand paint wording and designs as desired.

5. Let Dry & Hang!

Let the banner dry flat for at least 4 hours and wait 72 hours before exposing it to any moisture so the paint cures permanently.
